I don’t remember where I read it, but the blog post talked about eating an apple in the morning is as effective as drinking coffee to stay alert in the job or school. First, I did not give it much thought. I stuck with a cup of coffee as my morning ritual. Oftentimes, we make my own espresso double shot or cappuccino. One morning I woke up little late and getting late to go to work. I had no time to brew coffee. So I thought of giving a try to an apple as a caffeine supplement. I was not so sure when I took a bite. After hitting the road for nearly half an hour, I arrived at work. I found myself even fresher than when I had a cup of gourmet dark coffee without sugar. I think I should say – Yes, APPLE WORKED!
