It is fall here in Michigan, and it was raining on Sunday. The kids were resting and my husband was doing some reading. I was glad to get a text from this friend who wanted to hike at Seidman Park. Thankfully, by then, rain had stopped. It was still chilly, but what better way to warm up than going on a hike??!! I jumped on … Continue reading An Afternoon at Seidman Park….

He turned 3 two weeks ago. He still thinks that trees have bone just as human beings. He takes tree bark for its bone, as it is strong and gives tree support to stay firm. It is just too cute to be ignored. When I asked his brother and him what they think about the weather here in Grand Rapids, they both had the same … Continue reading Tree Has Bones?
This year, we had a record high snowfall in last 80 or so years. With the changing seasons of our life, we have been able to enjoy sun and little warmth nearly after 4 months. Snow started melting. Maybe 200 … Continue reading One Last-Ditch Effort to Get on the Road
I like to claim that this is my picture but in reality, it’s not mine. I received this picture from my nephew, Reason, who took this shot from the terrace of his house in Nepal. I always liked to watch the sun slowing hiding itself behind those big mountains while sitting at the riverside back then. If you climbed the top of the mountain on … Continue reading Mountains’ Veil
My kids like taking a walk in the evening every day. I had a long day today but they asked me to join them. I couldn’t help but join them. We had a great view of sunset from our neighbourhood. It’s always blessing to be able to enjoy every moment with family. Continue reading Evening Walk with Family
We used to live right at the intersection of 5 mile road on East Beltline, Grand Rapids. As of everyone who’ve lived and still living in Michigan know how unpredictable weather can be here. The day was quite perfect until the dark clouds started covering the sky of our area. A beautiful day turned out to be an alarming thunderous and lightening evening with a … Continue reading 5 Mile Intersection Just Before Thunderstorm
